Was a nice place to go to see the sea creatures. I can't help wonder if they are well looked after. Penguins didn't have very much space and seemed bored, also the sea turtles looked ill. I trust that the employees have given them enough space to live like normal, but nothings better than the wild.

A good look around and lovely to see penguins and otters. However was surprised with the lack of disabled access and a lot of the tanks were really low down so hard to see in at all if you have mobility issues regarding bending down. Really surprised how reasonably priced the gift shop was.

Two of the most striking qualities of this aquarium for me were the variety of aquatic and land wildlife there was, and also the theming, especially in the abyss section. However just be warned that the abyss section may be a little scary for young children because of the music used. There were also two areas under refurbishment, however there was still plenty to see and I look forward to returning once these refurbishment works are complete.

Smaller than we thought it would be but for only 23 with the offer of a third off. We was told about the shark tank before hand but this didn't put us off going in.I wouldn't have paid anymore though as it was very small even with the shark tank. Some of the tanks were empty or near empty.

Have visited here before and had a great time, so this weekend when we had my sons class toy (a whale) decided to visit again booked online and saw nothing about refurbishments on arrival got told the walk though dome (the only reason we came) was closed was really disappointed but stayed and really wasn't worth it!!! Barely anything to see and the fumes and smell from work being carried out were completely overwhelming at point and really made me wonder if it was safe for my 3 young children. Stayed only about a hour total waste of money!
