I refer to the review by Zoe Moran. I was having my hair done while the incident with her mother occurred. I was impressed by the courtesy the staff used while trying to find out why the client was unhappy and how they could help. The client was asked several times to sit down and have her hair done again. They also tried hard to find out exactly what the client wanted but she didn't know whether she wanted it curly or straight.. Eventually the client refused to have anything done and she was told that there would be no charge.I understand the emotional stress of weddings and wish Zoe all the best for her future .My own hair was cut and styled with both care and skill and I was delighted to accept professional advice about what would suit me. Wishing Terry and his team a happy and successful 2019.
My mum had her hair booked in for my wedding yesterday and the experience we had at this hair dressers RUINED the morning of my wedding. she arrived at 9.30 and told she was booked in for a blow dry when she was booked in for a style. she was then told that there wasn't going to be time to do a style like she wants. after deciding they would style her hair, she told them what she wanted to be told that she couldn't have it because she would look silly. the hairdresser did what she wanted to do in such a terrible state that my mum started crying. she told them to take it down and that she wasn't paying and then walked round the corner to Toni and guy where they only had time to straighten her hair before she needed to be back. when we rang the salon to complain, within thirty seconds they said my mum had lied about what was said and followed that by "we're not going to agree on this phonecall" before even listening to what my problem was. you absolutely ruined the morning of my wedding. My mum left at 9 to be with you for half 9 and she wasted time with you to then have to redo her hair and didn't get back to the hotel until 12.30 meaning for the whole morning of my wedding, I didn't have my mum! the manager i spoke to was RUDE, condescending and uninterested and kept saying "well there's nothing we can do for you". absolutely useless and your apologies were not genuine. a hairdresser that can't even do a basic hairdresser job. sounds like a good match. Incompetent and an absolutely waste of time
I went for a free consultation a week ago wanting to colour my hair but not really knowing what would suit me. Terry took the time to explain in details the best options according to my preferences, and did an allergy test prior to booking the appointment. I came back today for highlights and I am very happy with the result, it looks very natural, subtle, and not "cheap". The team is very friendly and professional, I recommend!
Highly recommend. Went in today looking and feeling a total mess and after a terrific cut, highlights and conditioner treatment came out feeling beautiful. Lovely friendly staff .
I read the reviews on google and went into the salon to ask about a cut and colour. I did show the colourist a picture of what I wanted, and then went back to have my hair done. Instead of a golden blonde I came out ash red! The colour was awful. I decided not to go ahead with the cut after seeing how bad the colour was. I told Evelyn I didnt like the colour at all, but I was still charged 70. She said come back in a few weeks and we will change it. I am sitting in The Industry and they are taking the colour out for me which is costing me even more money. The moral of the story is dont believe everything you read. What a disaster!
