At its heart, this is an old fashioned hardware store which has tried to adopt a more contemporary image.The range of stuff they sell is very broad - that's a big positive. But their proposition used to be based - 30 years ago - around having stores in town centre locations. That was also a big positive, meaning you could go and get something during your lunch break rather than wait to make a weekend trip to an out-of-town B&Q or Homebase.I can't help feeling that they're now located anywhere and everywhere, and their prices have gone sky-high. Especially on lower-priced items (under a tenner, say) I'd recommend you do a bit of price-checking before buying anything here.
