Over the past year of 2017 myself and neighbors of hankinson road have phoned the council to request a street clean which has been mostly half hearted. On the 15th of January I call the council to request a deeper street clean and to inform them of several blocked drains and and increase of dog mess. As of the 30th January nothing has been done.I have written and complained to Conner burners who has very kindly written to Stuart best, street service manager.I now quote from the letter received." We aim to clean all roads in the borough on a rolling schedule every 8-10 weeks. Main arterial routes are mechanically swept approximately every 3 weeks. Any areas identify as litter "hot spots" receive additional attention on a rolling schedule every 3-4 weeks. My neighbours and I have contacted the council on Numerous times and requested that hankinson road be on the watch list. This evidently is no the case as I still see blocked drains and litter that has been in the gutters for months. It's to the point now I have volunteered to Conner burns a visit to my home to discuss these and other issues. If you want to let the council now you have the same issues then start posting on this site.Andrew

Very unsympathetic I am currently 58 diabetic and sleeping rough apparently not enough of a problem to help me. How do they sleep themselves i wonder.

Bournemouth town centre has turned into a campsite, what are the council doing about the homeless problem, council enforcement, planning regulation team what are the priorities? Going after easy targets whilst avoiding the traveller issue, keep enjoying your sky high salaries, waiting on your gold plated pension, wasting money on non jobs, bureaucracy, red tape and support services.

It needs to do it's job a lot better . A great deal of talk , but nothing ever changes , just more over development in conjested areas . This part of the South coast is a lovely area , but we need a council , and councillors that care for it and it's future . So much money has been wasted in the past , projects like The Reef , that just got washed away in the sea , The Imax cinema that was closed more than it was open , even featured on T V about unattractive buildings . Then pulled down . The empty boarded up cinemas in Westover Road , once known as the Bond Street of Bournemouth , now home to greedy landlords and empty shops . The Pavilion Theatre that has the same summer show on , year after year after year , That ll Be The Day ! (when it changes ) Things need to change for the better .

The Bournemouth borough council is the mind and soul of Bournemouth. Everything that happens, every decisions, every festivals, it all down from here. And I applaud them for what they did for me; I was part of Keyring, which sadly was going to end. But the council saved us members and gave us hope and a reason to go on.As for the security; I find it over the top with these access cards. It's not like anything worth robbing! That's my only critique.
