Lovely staff, clean tidy room with a view and a great breakfast. As a women travelling alone for one night stay the hotel staff made feel welcome, safe and added to a really enjoyable time in Bournemouth. Thank you!
staff were all very helpful and friendly which was great. Location very central and secure free parking. Room was clean but in need of a makeover as very dated.

The hotel is quite OK, I would say average UK standard when comparing the tidyness. The guy on the reception is perfect!!!! He deserves 5 stars. The position of the Hotel is also awesome. The only concern I had is the route to the parking place, however the receptionist told me this will improve in the future.. Currently you have to arrive from the roundabout, which is very confusing and you will probably miss that if you don't know how it works (you have to cross the pavement)
Excellent hotel. Built in 1810, the very first building erected in Bournemouth. Full of interesting history. Rooms are spacious. Very clean. A Large modern bathroom. Well decorated in vintage style stately home with modern amenities. Beautiful hall ways and staircase including lifts. Breakfast room service is available. This hotel should be at least 4 stars. 1 disco bar. One modern continental bar. Main dining hall with elegant restaurant. A large free car park. A stone throw away from the beach. Value for money. Love this hotel.
