The savoy hotel is very comfortable and I have an eating problem but they have really looked after me with food. We have only been there for the weekend but hopefully later on this year we will stay for longer.
Friendly staff and good service. Had nice meal and tastes good. Clean rooms.
Just got here, we have a nice room but no view, we only booked a standard so all is well
Staff lovely. Room very poor. Virtually no water pressure for shower and bath. Central heating not controlled by guests so got cold later in the evening. Room just above entertainment so if you wanted an early night because you were tired, tough luck. Just felt the whole place was tired and like returning to the 1950s. Will not be returning.
We booked a Shearing Tour staying at this hotel. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised ours and friends that we holidaying with, rooms were large, light, airy and clean and modern. The en-suite was also large and clean. The hospitality tray was replenish daily and clean towels provided when needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent with very large choice of self service breakfast which was kept full. The evening meal was also very good with a good choice, service was quick without make you feel rushed. The gardens are kept well, we didn't use the pool but it looked clean. The hotel is close to the beach but quite a steep path to get to it but there is a left which is not too far from the hotel which takes you to and from the beach for a small charge. There is a bus stop close by to take you into the town centre where there are regular buses taking you to a wide variety to towns. All four of us really enjoyed our stat at the Savoy.
