We had a great experience with these guys, the quote was the lowest we had, and they not only did a good job moving our things to our new house, they also went beyond their remit by helping dismantle bits of furniture to ensure we could get them in the house, when I'm sure other companies would have just left them outside. All in all a great job!
We were let down by another removal company (who we have used several times for domestic and commercial moves). I phoned Colin at Abacus who came round and quoted within 24 hours. The price was great and the service we had was fantastic. I wish we had gone with Abacus from the start. I would have no problem recommending this company. Don't be fooled by all the advertising the other removal companies do, it certainly doesn't mean that they are the best.In my opinion Abacus are. Colin and his team did an amazing job with assisting in my house move - they arrived promptly and didn't stop working ( in a very professional manner) from 8.30am until removal was complete at 3.00pm.Nothing was too much trouble, doors were taken off ( when chairs didn't fit into room) tables were dismantled and rebuilt when needed. They even had a very frustrating hour + waiting whilst a garage key was found, and still didn't grumble ! I wouldn't hesitate in using or recommending them again. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable.
Collin and his team come highly recommended. You will not find a more reliable company to make your move day completely stress free. We moved from a house to a flat and they navigated their way around corners and staircases with ease. They are friendly, trustworthy and really take care of your furniture during the move, making sure that it does not get damaged.
