I have visited this branch on a weekly basis for well over a year, but never again.Absolutely rude and shocking customer service.I visited today 18th July 2018, and joined the queue, the sales lady serving in the shop had a customer ask for some photocopying, the sales lady went out the back but could not figure out how to use the scanner, so the lady post office worker went off to sort that out and left me and the other customers standing behind me waiting.She came back with no apology, and then stood in front of us explaining to the other member of staff how the machine works.This had easily caused a delay of 4-5 minutes. I was a bit taken aback, that we did not even get a "sorry to keep you waiting". She then took my parcel and I said what service I wanted (which was special delivery). She would not accept that I wanted to send it by SD, and said how about Parcelforce24, I said NO I would like to send it by special delivery, she then said it would be cheaper and I said that it wouldn't, she informed me that they had done one earlier and it was cheaper. I had to insist, as this is how I wanted to send it. After I had paid I was then told off for being rude, I then complained about how we were treated and was then told to visit another post office in the future. I send the same package every week by special delivery and it costs 26.60 and is delivered by 1pm. To send the same parcel by Parcelforce24 will cost 31.25 and can be delivered any time up to 5pm.This is why I post by special delivery. I find it amusing that on the front of the shop it says use us or lose us, and they treat there regular customers like this. I know alot if friends and family who use this post office and will certainly inform them of this behaviour. This review will be posted on every forum I can I find, and also I will be contacting post office counters.
They are repugnant exploitative employers to work for and treated me like dirt. Avoid the place like the plague.
Usless. Do not accept per paid Royal Mail labels. Time waster !!!
