A bit basic, but it depends how much you want to pay for things. Most things come on decent size packets and the choice is reasonable. Not necessarily well known brands though. Store is spacious but not nicely presented. You may or may not find someone on a till. Otherwise it's self service.
As well as good prices, this Lidl in Boscombe has a very good range of food. It has just undergone a bit of a revamp; all the meat is now kept in vertical cool cabinets. There is an in-store bakery. More and more branded goods are appearing. Champagne is under 12 and is of excellent quality. Good choice of flowers and plants.

Excellent! Recently refurbished, light and airy with a good patisserie and substantial fruit & veg and frozen food of all types. Good quality at amazingly low prices.
