Had a handbag cake made by this company for my wifes birthday .after suggesting I sentAn email photo of her favourite bag in they copied to a very high standard. Not only did it look good The layers of sponge, jam and cream were quite delicious and all of our guests enjoyed it very much .Thankyou for a very professional job indeed.
Have had many cakes made her wedding birthday's for my grown up children and now my grandkids.They will do photos ect any shape require all in edable inks. Expect to pay more for the service.
What fantastic service and an amazing cake! I visited Speciality Cakes after a very poor experience with another cake maker in Bournemouth. I should have come straight to the experts! Speciality Cakes were open later on a Tuesday, which worked perfectly with my childcare needs I was able to sit and talk thoroughly through my requirements in a comfortable 'cake showroom' without ever feeling rushed. I could see the exact size of cakes that we were discussing and I was even able to take a sample of some fruit cake home, which my husband was very impressed with!I was amazed at the choice on offer and the price that I was quoted for such a quality a 2 tier ( 1 tier chocolate and 1 fruit ) cake was SO reasonable (particularly when it was cheaper than a basic chocolate cake that I was quoted for elsewhere). The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, covered every small detail and even took the time to help me choose the lace ribbon detail for the cake decoration, from the doll shop next door! The cake was promptly delivered to our reception venue, in plenty of time for the florist to decorate it and when I saw the final result I was absolutely delighted! The cake didnt just look fantastic, it tasted wonderful too! The chocolate tier was so popular with our guests, it didnt survive past the wedding reception.I am very happy to recommend Speciality Cakes and thank you wholeheartedly for making what could have been a very challenging process, seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. We will definitely use you for our celebration cakes in the future!
