Great reception staff but business seems to have taken over from patient care - I know its a business but since Mr Wood sold practice, the old care and concern seems to have declined. Such a shame.
I've been with this dentist for best part of 10 years. In this time I've noticed it be less and less about the patient. I've had frequent changes in dentist without any warning. And most recently the dentist has heavily pushed for private work whilst in a high pressure situation with little time to think it over. After missing 1 appointment due to adopting 2 children and honestly forgetting I phoned to apologise to be told I have a Block from the dentist With no opportunity for recourse. Absolutely fuming I was told I could see anyone else at the practice but not him. As I now have 2 kids to sign up as well as myself I told them no thanks and will take our business elsewhere. Frustrates me that I have always recommended this practice.Parking is also horrendous.
Smart and local I have only just recently moved to here from another local dentist the service has been absolutely superb very attentive very efficient very fast not a lot of waiting and the level of treatment unsurpassed would definitely recommend it but not too much because I want to be able to get an appointment when I need it so don't all Rush
As a VERY nervous dental patient, I registered at this practice recently, as I needed a few extractions. From the lovely reception staff and dental Nurses, to Mr Simon Doyle the dentist, I would not be scared to have further work done here. Thankyou to all.
When moving to Bournemouth from Bushey it is difficult to know which Dentist will be suitable. I took a chance. I put in my new Postcode and said "nearest Dentist to this Postcode" and Holmoak came up so I rang and registered and it is just around the corner from us and is a lovely practice. Receptionists and Dentists all lovely and helpful and myself and my husband were totally relaxed there. On our first visit we had to fill in a very comprehensive form - medical history etc and that was that.
