Do not use this surgery unless you are happy to be discriminated against for being young and accused of shouting because you want to complain! reception staff are rude, arrogant and condescending while allowing patients to involve themselves in something that has nothing to do With them!! they left that patient that they have a duty of care to covered in urine as they were too busy being rude to us also vomit all over toilet floor
Never get appointment with them, they tell you to ring first thing in the morning but takes them 1/2 hour to get to you as an average and then when you get through there's no appointments available, doctors are rude at times, only good doctors are the trainees but they don't often stay long
I would agree with the fact that recently there have been very long wait times on the phone. If your appointment is for the near future there is an excellent online booking facility where you can also order repeat prescriptions.
The doctors here have always been friendly and helpful to our family who have several medical conditions between us needing regular attention. It can sometimes be difficult to get an appointment time if you need one on the day you call, however there is the emergency sit and wait service every day which means whilst a long wait isnt ideal, its not the end of the world if it means seeing a doctor on that day. It's a shame they have no children's area or activity table or a larger selection of childrens books to help parents when they do have to sit and wait. Overall a very good surgery.
This surgery used to be excellent a couple of years back, since they have merged with another surgery it has been a nightmare, whatever time you phone that doesn't work, no-one can get through. So that means one has to march up there in person to get an appointment and when you get there, there is a massive queue waiting to talk to the receptionist. No wonder no-one answers the phone. God forbid if anyone is ever ill.
