Every time I get a train from Bournemouth towards Poole, the train is at least several minutes late. So, expect to be late if you travel. The station entrances have ticket barriers. There are vending machines, toilets & cafes on the platform.
Poor. Staff not friendly. Dirty and staff are more talking with other staff not the public!!
I can only surmise that the staff aren't paid enough, are miserable that they ended up standing about in the heat, working an unfulfilling, unskilled job as they are all a negative, rude and seriously unhelpful. I suggest they are all taken on a course to brush up their customer service skills because it's not a good look. I will add that the station itself is really nice and obviously there are a few decent human beings working there but the aforementioned staff really let the place down.
If you like bournemouth and trains, then bournemouth train station with tickle your tea pot! Id have to say I enjoy both.... hence my positive review!
Asked a gentlemen at the ticket office whether I could get a hard copy of my railcard which cost me 30, in case my phone run out of battery... his responseNo. Its your own fault for opting for an electric copy He didnt even offer me any helpful advice.
