If it doesn't rain or it is windy, the trains are usually/sometimes on time.
This is even worse than a lot of the stations from near where I am from up north! Pokesdown station is tired and depressing, I'd avoid the station at all costs, use Christchurch or Bournmouth.
Usually unmanned. You access the platforms via stairs. There is a bike ramp but I don't believe there is wheelchair access. Very dingy and I doubt that lone travelers would want to use the station when it is dark. It is however very handy if you want to avoid travelling all the way to bought station.
Horrible train station I went here a month ago at about 9 at night and the train was delayed so had to wait on my own hated it. I definitely would recommend getting of at bournemouth you feel more safe.
Could do with some proper disabled access.
