Tom and his team at Vets for Pets are the best in the area i will not go anywhere else. I have used them for nearly 20 years and have found the service to be the best at all times. They are the most empathetic and caring vets you could wish to see highly recommend them and their 24 hour service.
Compared to other vets V4P is very reasonable in price. They are also 24 hours and the fee isn't higher out of hours. Loses a star as the vet we saw was very matter of fact.
I really am not happy with the service, sadly I had to have my beloved cat put to sleep and paid to have her cremated. Picked her ashes up today to find Ive paid 48 for a cardboard box and her ashes are just inside in a plastic bag... yet on the receipt it said cat or rabbit casket. I do no call a cardboard box a casket by any means. Awful service and I would recommend that if you love and care for your pets do not use this vets practice.
Used to be the best vet in the area, but nowadays a let down. If you have an animal with a long term or perhaps chronic condition it is advisable to do some research yourself, sometimes a holistic approach is better for your animal. I had some bad experience with vets in the past, trusting their professional opinion, on reflection however they thought more about all the money they can earn from you rather than what's best for your pet. Sometimes less is more! Do some research and your pet parent homework, discuss with your vet, make an informed decision!
This branch is open 24/7. All staff are friendly & helpful and it's usually possible to get a same day appointment if needed. Marked parking bays for client use are in a small private car park just in front of the clinic's entrance. Parking is free and, in my experience, there is always availability. Home veterinary visits are offered when required.
