I purchased a used VW from Bournemouth Cars in late November 2018. When I initially looked at the car a number of issues appeared when the ignition was switched on(service req'd, new batteries in key fobs required and low tyre pressure). I liked the car and agreed to purchase it providing those issues were resolved. I collected the car a week later and none of the earlier reported errors were present. I was informed that Bournemouth Cars had replaced a battery in one of the key fobs but not the other and it was arranged that the second battery would be delivered to me. Well 6 weeks on and I'm still waiting for the battery, I've had to replace all 4 tyres on the car and its now developed a fault with the air-conditioning. The warranty that Bournemouth cars provides is not worth the paper it is written on despite it being from the RAC (which is just a front as its really provided by The Warranty Group, google them to see how bad they are) and I'm facing a large bill to put the air-conditioning fault right. Update 12/01/19. Bournemouth Cars have agreed to look at the problem with the car and provide me with a courtesy car in the meantime so credit to them for being proactive
